Chen Jiexiao (Jay)

Jiexiao began foundational training with Frontier Danceland’s PULSE programme, eventually joining T.H.E 2nd Company.

For the past few years, as an Independent Dance Artist he has collaborated with visual artists, presented his own full-length commissioned production and a full-length duet, and teaches workshops internationally.

His dance films have been selected for more than 100 film festivals globally. Currently the director of Miao Dance 淼舞, Jiexiao is primarily concerned with topics related to the human condition, in particular notions of loneliness.

Director Assistant of MIAO DANCE :

Titisa Jeamsakul (Ice)

Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Ice moved to Singapore in 2012 to study for her diploma in dance (Pedagogy) where she graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in 2015. Thereafter, she received her degree from London Contemporary Dance School (UK) in 2018.

After graduation, Ice joined Arts Fission Company in Singapore for 2 years, and is currently an independent movement artist, Yoga teacher and Assistant Director at MIAO DANCE 淼舞.
